THE PHILOSOPHY

Movement for the Modern Mind

We live in a world that champions "doing." Our studio exists to champion "being."

Our weekly classes are not just about stretching; they are a physiological intervention for the busy mind. Rooted in the science of the nervous system and the wisdom of ancient practice, each session is designed to move you from a state of fight-or-flight into rest-and-digest.

Whether you are navigating high-pressure work, family demands, or simply the noise of modern life, this is your sanctuary to pause, breathe, and recalibrate.

THE EXPERIENCE

Wednesday Evenings: Yin & Nidra
19:45 – 21:00 GMT | Solihull

A 75-minute immersion into stillness.

01. The Practice (60 Mins)

We begin with Candlelit Yin Yoga, a slow, floor-based practice where poses are held for 3–5 minutes. Unlike dynamic yoga, Yin targets the deep connective tissues (fascia) and joints, releasing physical tension and improving the flow of energy (Qi). It is a meditative challenge that teaches resilience and surrender.

02. The Restoration (15 Mins)

We close with Yoga Nidra ('Yogic Sleep'), a guided meditation that drifts you into the hypnagogic state between wakefulness and sleep. This practice is scientifically proven to lower cortisol and restore the nervous system.

03. The Sensory Layer

Every session is enhanced by the application of essential oils, carefully selected to ground the senses and deepen your relaxation.

COMING SOON: SOUND HEALING SESSIONS

Sound is a central pillar of the Ananda Pearl experience. While our core practice is deeply rooted in Yin Yoga, we frequently weave Sound Healing into our studio sessions.

Using the rich, grounding resonance of Tibetan singing bowls and delicate chimes, we use sound frequency to gently bypass the analytical mind and induce a state of deep Theta relaxation. These sonic baths are intentionally designed to clear energetic blockages, soothe the nervous system, and restore cellular harmony.

This will be open as 1:1 and Small Group Sessions.
