ABOUT OUR CLASSES

Take a gentle pause from the busyness of life and immerse yourself in 1 hour and 15 minutes of deep rest and renewal. Each session is set in a calming, candlelit space, where you’ll be guided through a soothing 1-hour Yin Yoga practice designed to release tension, restore balance, and nurture your well-being. To enhance relaxation, we incorporate the therapeutic benefits of doTERRA essential oils, deepening your experience and creating a sense of grounding and tranquility.

The practice closes with a 15-minute Yoga Nidra meditation, offering deep rest for the nervous system and time to fully unwind, integrate, and leave feeling calm, grounded, and replenished.

Please bring a bottle of water and a cosy blanket for savasana at the end of class.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY...

“I have tried Yoga in the past but found classes to be quite cliquey and difficult to follow. Gurpreet’s class was a welcome surprise. I loved the way we ‘found our edge’ in the deep restorative poses I could feel my nervous system relax. I also loved the way we were invited to actively tune into our bodies and connect to them , by the time we had finished I was ready for sleep. Gurpreet was lovely and calm she explained what we were doing and why .I also thought the warm tea at the end of class was such a nice touch. I honestly loved the class I would highly recommend it, self care is a term used so often now but this class would be perfect for you if you are serious about yours.” - Lisa

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • It’s completely natural to feel a little anxious before trying something new, but please know that Yin Yoga is a practice of stillness, rest, and self-care—there’s no pressure, no competition, and no need to compare yourself to anyone else. In Yin, all that matters is your own experience. Every body is different, and this practice is about listening to yours with kindness and patience. I’ll be there to guide you, offering support and modifications to help you feel comfortable and at ease. There’s no right or wrong in Yin Yoga—just a space for you to slow down, breathe, and reconnect in a way that feels good for you. And if all you do is show up and take time for yourself, that is more than enough.

  • You don’t need to be flexible to do yoga—in fact, you don’t even need to be able to touch your toes! Yin yoga isn’t about how far you can stretch, but about finding stillness, releasing tension, and listening to your body. We use props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks to support you, making every pose accessible and comfortable. There’s no right or wrong way to practice—it’s about what feels good for you in the moment. Yoga is for every body, and you are welcome exactly as you are.

  • For a yin yoga class, comfort is key! Wear soft, loose, or stretchy clothing that allows you to move and relax with ease—think leggings, joggers, or yoga pants paired with a comfy top or sweater. Layers are great, as yin yoga involves long-held poses, and your body temperature may drop as you relax. Socks and a cosy jumper or blanket can help keep you warm, especially during Yoga Nidra or Savasana at the end of class. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and at ease so you can fully enjoy your practice. Props (yoga mats, blocks, bolsters and cushions) are all provided so all you need to bring is a water bottle, cosy blanket and an open mind.
